Where did it start?
What started as a conversation with a curious young mind became the beginning of Fearless Imagineers.
For most of my life, I never quite felt like I fit in. I was always asking too many questions, thinking differently and becoming completely absorbed in ideas. Years later, I was diagnosed with ADHD and discovered I'm also autistic. Suddenly, it all made sense; my way of thinking wasn't wrong; it was simply different.
As both a parent governor and now a Trustee Director, I've seen the incredible work schools do every day. But I also know how important it is for young people to have opportunities beyond the classroom to discover their strengths and build confidence.
During a school run, I met Finn. Through our conversations about ideas, business and engineering, I unknowingly inspired him to believe that anything is possible. At the same time, Finn's curiosity and fearless questions reminded me of my younger self and reignited my own purpose.
That moment inspired Fearless Imagineers, a place where every child is encouraged to think differently, embrace their strengths and discover that what makes them unique could become their greatest advantage.
Because imagination has no postcode, and every child deserves the chance to realise their potential.
