Mark Pinder is Co-Founder and CEO of Fig3D, where he's bringing together traditional manufacturing and modern technology to create practical engineering solutions that make a real difference.

Growing up on a Yorkshire council estate and serving in the Royal Navy before moving into industry, Mark has built his career through hard work, resilience, and backing people. Over the past 15 years, he's held commercial and leadership roles across engineering, manufacturing, hardware, and SaaS, helping businesses grow, innovate, and bring ideas to market.

Alongside Fig3D, Mark is Co-Founder of Fearless Imagineers, a Trustee Director at Willow Tree Academy, and former Vice Chair of Governors at a local school. He's passionate about widening access to B-STEAM, adding Business to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths, because great ideas only become lasting innovations when they're supported by commercial thinking, creativity, and practical skills.

Mark believes engineering is about people as much as it is about technology. His aim is simple: inspire the next generation to think bigger, create sustainable ideas, and prove that where you start in life doesn't have to determine where you finish.

Aden Norburn is Co-Founder and Manufacturing & Innovation Director at Fig3D, a Trustee of Fearless Imagineers, a Parent Governor, and a Master Electrician by trade.

Growing up on a Yorkshire council estate, Aden learnt early that nothing comes for free. Taught to weld by his father from the age of five, he developed a strong work ethic and a passion for making things that has shaped his career ever since.

With over 20 years of experience in engineering, product design, and manufacturing, he has worked across both traditional engineering and advanced manufacturing technologies, helping bring new products from concept through to production.

At Fig3D, Aden leads the technical side of the business, bringing together practical engineering, advanced manufacturing, materials, and automation to solve real-world challenges. His approach is simple: use the right people, the right skills, and the right technology to get the job done properly.

Away from the workshop, Aden is passionate about creating opportunities for others. Through Fearless Imagineers and his role as a Parent Governor, he works to inspire young people into engineering and show that where you start doesn't define where you can finish.

Linsey Thornton is a Co-Founder of Fearless Imagineers, bringing over 30 years of diverse experience in hardware engineering, operations, and technical leadership.

Growing up on a council estate, Linsey learned the value of graft and resilience early on. With a father who spent over 20 years working as an engineer on the pit top, a practical approach to problem-solving and a strong work ethic are in her blood. She prides herself on being fiercely loyal and deeply honest, guided by a strong moral compass and a readiness to always stand up for others with genuine care and empathy.

Throughout her career, Linsey has never been one to shy away from hard work. She has led teams in fast-paced tech environments like Motorola and Embed Limited, mastering everything from complex prototype builds to hands-on problem-solving on the factory floor. She thrives where technical strategy meets execution, consistently proving her capability in historically male-dominated fields.

At Fearless Imagineers, Linsey channels her passion and experience into shaping the next generation. She is dedicated to showing all young people that engineering is for everyone, proving that where you start in life doesn't dictate where you finish. Her message is clear: with determination, curiosity, and a strong voice, anything is possible if you put your mind to it.
